This series shows how everyone has a dark side, and nobody here is uncorrupted. In this story, you will meet well developed characters, this is not the usual tale where the world is divided between good and evil people. If that was not enough, the first book of Abercrombie’s new trilogy was published in September 2019 and it’s called A Little Hatred. Initially, this series consisted only of a trilogy and therefore it was pretty easy to know the proper reading order but the British author wrote also three stand-alone novels set in the same world.
The First Law is a medieval fantasy series written by Joe Abercrombie. The first novel of his new series, A Little Hatred, was recently published, and you should read it if you haven’t yet. Considering the short stories, that is the best way to read The First Law books in order. In case you want to read them, I suggest you do it after reading Red Country. Quick note: there are also short stories that I didn’t include in this reading order.
